Needs an editor!

I love the great questions but SO MANY ANSWER ERRORS! Especially in the opthal/oto section. Such a shame this wasn't edited well because the questions are spot on and informative. I still find it useful for question practice but be sure you read the answers. Often the letter for the answer is wrong.

Disappointing

In preparing to take the PANCE, you are told to actually do questions and not just read. I decided on this question book because of how pleased I was with other Lange products, including their PANCE flash cards. Unfortunately this book isn't so great. It's broken into sections based on organ system, which is helpful to focus, but the sections don't match up with the PANCE blue print. In addition, a lot of the questions cover material that also isn't in the PANCE blueprint. It could be helpful to know these conditions in actual practice, but when you're trying to study for the test they get a bit annoying. While I could over look these problems, the one that really drove me crazy and made me drop my rating even more was the mistakes. There were quite a few questions in each section that had the wrong answer letter written as the correct answer. I'd go back and recheck the question and read the explanation and realize I was right all along! Unfortunately, this didn't help when the answer explanation was written too poorly to work this out. I feel like I wasted a lot of time having to consult a bunch of different resources to double check myself. Overall, this book was just ok. I'm not sure I'd spend the money on it again.

There are many errors in this book. You have to read the explanation in order to get the right answer, because the letter answers are not always correct and contradict the explanation.
