About the Author
Raymond Szymanski's Department of Defense Civil Service career spanned five decades at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base from 1973 until 2011 when he retired as a Senior Electronics Engineer. While on a two-year Executive Loan to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Commander, he served as the first Director of the Installation Civilian Wellness Program managing activities and scientific studies supporting 10,000 base civilian employees. As Chairman of the Ada Joint Program Office’s Evaluation and Validation Team he managed software developments critical to the National Defense. Outstanding Book for the Neophite and the Believer

I am a true believer in UFOs, and Ray's book is a great ride through the workings of past UFO encounters. He uses great photos and stories to keep the reader informed and entertained. His intimate knowledge of Wright-Patterson's layout and the intriguing past make even those not familiar with base, feel like they know it well. His research into the subject is vast and his ability to lay it out for the reader is great. This is one of the best books on the subject to come out in years. This book is for true believers and those who have a passing interest in UFOs. I had a hard time putting it down. Great work, Ray. Great Work.

I loved the humorous and personal anecdotal approach. Despite the humour and this personal approach at no stage did the book make fun of the subject matter. On the contrary, I believe it made the book very entertaining without resorting to the subject matter itself as entertainment - this involved walking quite a tightrope and Raymond does this with some notable skill.
For some readers the book’s humorous approach may mask or detract from Raymond’s extensive knowledge in this field. But I am very well read in this area and found the book to be extremely informative and I learned quite a bit as Raymond approached the subject matter from new angles.
I love the humanity and adventure of the 'road trip' approach. At the end of the day personal experience and humanity is what counts ahead of bland facts and Raymond gave life to these stories by doing this. And despite the ‘weird’ content I am pleased that Raymond makes no outlandish or unsubstantiated claims at any stage of the book. His credibility as a researcher remains very high in my opinion as there are absolutely no 'eyebrow raising' moments in the book…..
In summary, Fifty Shades of Greys is an activist’s book, a quest for truth by an individual with a most credible and impressive background who has the courage to confront the subject matter head on with ‘non-believers’. Behind this ‘frolicking romp’ is a passionate, intelligent and dedicated researcher which I hope is not lost to other readers.
This book is a must read by those interested in travel adventure, the paranormal, UFO experts and those only casually interested in the UFO topic...

The Perspecitve of an Research Engineer Adds New Information, Plus Lots of Humor! A Serious Yet Enjoyable Read

As a fellow author (in natural health), I was impressed by this book! Not only do you get to see the concise research done by a professional engineer but he is quite humorous to boot! This book really could have been three books and is a great value. Also, Ray's research really does add new information and insights to UFOlogy. In particular, his encounters with the Men In Black are disturbing yet hilariously written. I look forward to reading Ray's next book and seeing him on The History Channel, where I am certain he will be interviewed on UFO/Alien/Ancient Astronaut type shows.
