I love these designs!

Adult coloring has recently become one of my favorite activities. I like to throw coloring parties and try to color something everyday. Sometimes the standard mandalas and flowers get a little tiresome to color, so I've turned to coloring swear words. It's so therapeutic to color a swear word like "Bitch" or "S***balls" and make it into something pretty.
This book has wonderful designs and leaves lots of blank space which you can use to turn the piece into something unique if you wanted to. I also love that it includes both grey and black line drawings for each design. It's twice the fun! Another good feature is that the designs are only on one side of the page, so you don't have to worry about markers bleeding through.
I only wish it had perforated pages so I could easily tear out my finished pieces.

If All Else Fails, Give it Away to Some Random Neighbor Kid

Last night we had a few friends over to do some coloring, and we all agreed that this is the best coloring book we've seen in a long time. It's simply hilarious.
We've had an absolute blast with this book. If you're into adult coloring books, or if you're an adult who colors, or if you simply have a sense of humor -- then I think you'll enjoy this rather playful yet profane coloring book. Each page is punctuated, shall we say, with a particularly bawdy exclamation. And they just keep on giving.
For many of us, coloring is a restorative practice: You sharpen the colored pencils, turn to a new page, devise a plan, and start filling in the empty spaces. Coloring was once relegated to childhood exclusively, but it's been recovered for adults in recent years -- and it's really quite wonderful. Voids become whole and complete, in coloring. And in coloring, simple accomplishment is restive. Whereas stress often overtakes us in daily life, with coloring it's all about flow, ease, and restful thinking. Color as much or as little as you like, as there are no grades in coloring.
Technical point: For avid coloring book fans, the patterning in this book has a bit to be desired. As a coloring book, I've seen better patterning. The pages are not what's called "full bleed," for instance, which means that the edges of the coloring patterns all end with open/white space at the margins. Furthermore, some bounded areas go on and on within the patterns, making you have to decide where to stop coloring -- when solid lines often do that. Furthermore, as you can see in my pics, much of what is typically black line is in fact grayscale in this book. But with that all said, it's still a great book. I can't fault it for these technical failings, as it's so creative.
Just imagine coloring in a page, razoring it out of the book, and then giving it to that "special" person at work who needs a colorful message to brighten up his or her day.

This book is FUNNY!

This review is for the Sweary Coloring Book: Swear Words Relaxation for Adults (Swear Word Adult Coloring Book) (Volume 1).
I love this adult coloring book so much. I have a couple of swear word coloring books. I find coloring in them very therapeutic and this book just looked like too much fun to pass up! I am so glad I got it!
The book features really trippy designs that remind me of 1960’s album artwork. These designs are very unique to this author; I have never seen them elsewhere. The designs cover the majority of the page. The lines are also defined and easy to color in. There are no blurred pictures and I can really get my colored pencils in there and make the pages beautiful!
The words are cursive and swirled into the artwork! Each and every page makes me laugh. There are also many pages of coloring for lots of weeks and months of fun. These pages are printed on nice paper and the color pencils glide easily across the pages for maximum fun. You can cut these out of the book and frame them. I actually LOVE these swirls and with the right color pallet these would make GREAT wall decorations when framed! Overall I would recommend this to anyone OVER the age of 18+ who wants a good laugh, a nice therapeutic outlet for artwork and something special you won’t get anywhere else. 5/5 stars!
